Tim Eichenbrenner is a native Virginian, who moved with his family to Charlotte, NC, in 1979 for his pediatric training. After completing his residency, he elected to stay in Charlotte, a beautiful southern city, where he and his wife raised their two children and he practiced pediatrics for 38 years. In 2017, he retired from the full-time practice of medicine and embarked on a new pursuit—writing.
While Tim always enjoyed writing, he did not begin studying the discipline until he felt called to write a book. He found there to be a huge difference between writing and writing seriously. The latter requires participation in coursework and writing groups, attending writers’ conferences, studying as many books as possible on the numerous facets of writing, and reading books of all genres. Tim’s debut novel, To Live in the Light, was published in 2022 by Morgan James Publishing.
Tim’s longstanding blog, Tuesday Thoughts, gives him an opportunity to put his thoughts on paper for others to read and consider. His goal is to present a reasoned opinion on issues and stories that confront us in today’s world. While people may not always agree, dialogue—the exchange of words and thoughts—is never a bad starting point.
